Verified on Oct-15-2026. Every tool on this list was checked on that day against its own source, distinguishing between measured and declared data: a measured figure comes from an open API, source code, or the product's official registry and can be reproduced; a declared figure is what the provider publishes on their website. They are not mixed or averaged. Of the twelve entries in the previous version, two no longer exist (Sonar Watch and the Pulsar Finance tracker) and chain counts were outdated by a factor of up to 4.7. There is also a finding that changes how this table is read: a tracker's coverage is not one number, but two—the chains where it can read an address and those where it can decode a DeFi position—and providers who publish both often do so without separating them. CleanSky is our own product, and its figures are based on our own count within the app's repository.

Comparison of all trackers

CleanSky

CleanSky is a privacy-focused multi-chain portfolio tracker covering 25 mainnets across eight chain families. It works by pasting a wallet address: no wallet connection, no signatures, no account required. CleanSky automatically detects and categorizes positions in assets, savings, loans, and investments, adding a layer most trackers lack: risk analysis covering volatility, liquidity, sovereignty, and smart contract risk.

It also monitors token approvals (showing which contracts have permission to spend your tokens) and utilizes client-side encryption for data processing. All features are free.

Chains (own count, 2026-10-15): 25 mainnets across eight families — 17 EVM, Solana, Tron, Bitcoin, Sui, Aptos, TON, and two from Cosmos — plus 17 testnets

Position readers (own count, 2026-10-15): 329 in the app repository

Wallet Connection: Not required

Price: Free

Best for: privacy-conscious users wanting a complete multi-chain view with risk analysis.

Zerion

Zerion is a wallet-based portfolio tracker with integrated trading. It features a clean, polished interface, especially on mobile devices, and allows for direct token swaps within the app via its aggregator. Zerion displays balances, DeFi positions, NFTs, and transaction history across supported chains.

Chains (declared by Zerion, read on 2026-10-15): 66 in the wallet and 42 in its data product—two figures that coexist on its own homepage because they measure different products

Protocols: does not publish a count, and its chain API requires payment (HTTP 402)

Wallet Connection: Required

Price: Free

Best for: users who want to trade and track in a single app with a polished mobile experience.

DeBank

DeBank has built the most comprehensive DeFi protocol coverage on EVM chains. It detects positions across a wide range of protocols and has added a social layer: Web3 profiles, a social feed, and wallet tracking. DeBank requires a wallet signature to access all features.

Chains (measured on 2026-10-15): 71, counted in its own public list api.debank.com/chain/list

Protocols: does not publish a verifiable count; its strength remains its depth in EVM

Wallet Connection: Signature required for full features

Price: Free

Best for: advanced DeFi users on EVM chains who want deep protocol coverage and social features.

Zapper

Zapper is one of the original DeFi dashboards. It provides portfolio tracking, NFT galleries, transaction history, and an exploration tab to discover protocols and yield opportunities. Zapper has shifted its product direction several times, and some features have appeared and disappeared.

Chains: 15+

Protocols: Moderate

Wallet Connection: Required

Price: Free

Best for: users who want a general DeFi dashboard with NFT tracking and protocol discovery.

CoinStats

CoinStats is the best choice for users who need to combine CeFi and DeFi. It connects to centralized exchanges (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and many others) via API and also tracks DeFi wallet positions. If your crypto assets are spread across exchanges and wallets, CoinStats brings them all together in a single view.

Chains (declared by CoinStats, read on 2026-10-15): over 120 for reading an address and over 50 for DeFi positions; these are the two figures mentioned in the notice above

Protocols (declared): over 10,000

Wallet Connection: Required / API keys for exchanges

Price: Freemium

Best for: users with assets in both exchanges and wallets who want a unified view.

Step Finance

Step Finance is the native dashboard for Solana. It provides deep integration with Solana DeFi protocols: Marinade, Raydium, Orca, Jupiter, Drift, and many more. If your portfolio lives entirely on Solana, Step Finance understands the ecosystem better than any multi-chain tracker.

Chains: Solana Only

Status (2026-10-15): the app responds at app.step.finance; the root domain returns a 404, so a link to step.finance will not work

Wallet Connection: Not required (paste address)

Price: Free

Best for: Solana-exclusive users who want the deepest DeFi integration.

Sonar Watch (no longer exists)

This was a Solana-focused portfolio tracker with good DeFi position detection. As of Oct-15-2026, its domain no longer has DNS records: neither sonar.watch, www, nor app return an address when queried via Cloudflare and Google public resolvers, while the local resolver successfully resolved other domains in the same pass. It remains on the list rather than being silently deleted because anyone searching for it needs to know the issue is not on their end.

Status (2026-10-15): domain without DNS resolution

Checked at: cloudflare-dns.com and dns.google, no A records

Wallet Connection: N/A

Price: N/A

If you used it: for Solana, Step Finance remains at app.step.finance, and CleanSky covers Solana within its multi-chain view.

Pulsar Finance (tracker is closed)

This was the reference tracker for the Cosmos and IBC ecosystem, featuring appchain coverage and staking/validator tracking. As of Oct-15-2026, its domain serves a different product: Shotgun, a Solana trading terminal from the same team. The page itself states, "From the team behind Pulsar Finance," and offers former users a way to recover their data: "Former Pulsar Finance user? Recover your saved wallets and portfolios below."

Status (2026-10-15): the portfolio tracker is no longer offered; the domain serves Shotgun

Checked at: pulsar.finance, www, /portfolio and app.pulsar.finance/portfolio all return the same page; docs and portfolio do not resolve

Wallet Connection: N/A

Price: N/A

If you used it: there is a window to copy your data from their own page, and for Cosmos, Mintscan and CleanSky's Cosmos chains remain; the Keplr registry, with 401 chains on 2026-10-15, is the reference for the ecosystem coverage required.

Nansen Portfolio

Nansen Portfolio is part of the Nansen analytics platform, which combines portfolio tracking with whale tracking, "smart money" signals, and on-chain analysis. It is aimed at professional traders, researchers, and institutional users. The premium pricing reflects this positioning.

Chains (declared by Nansen, read on 2026-10-15): 38, with the full list in their docs — 24 EVM and 14 non-EVM, including Solana, Bitcoin, Sui, Aptos, TON, Tron, Injective, and Mantra

Protocols: does not publish a count

Wallet Connection: Required

Price: Premium (subscription)

Best for: institutional users and researchers who want portfolio tracking combined with on-chain intelligence.

Rotki

Rotki is an open-source, local-first portfolio tracker with integrated tax reporting. It runs entirely on your machine: no data leaves your computer. Rotki supports DeFi protocols, centralized exchange imports, and generates tax reports for multiple jurisdictions. It is the most robust option for privacy maximalists.

Chains (measured on 2026-10-15): 21, counted in its own SupportedBlockchain; these include Solana, which the previous version of this table listed as not covered, as well as Hyperliquid, Monad, Sonic, Scroll, Ink, and the Ethereum beacon chain

Protocols: does not publish a count; it is free software, so the list can be read in the repository

Wallet Connection: Not required (local)

Price: Freemium

Best for: privacy maximalists who want total data sovereignty and integrated tax reporting.

CoinGecko Portfolio

CoinGecko Portfolio is a basic portfolio tracker from the popular crypto data site. It works via manual entry: you add your assets and it tracks the prices. No wallet connection, no DeFi position detection. Simple and free.

Chains: N/A (manual entry)

Protocols: N/A (manual entry)

Wallet Connection: Not required

Price: Free

Best for: users who want simple price tracking without connecting any wallet and are willing to enter assets manually.

Delta (by eToro)

Delta is a mobile portfolio tracker acquired by eToro. It supports exchange connections, price alerts, watchlists, and portfolio analytics. The mobile app is well-designed and geared toward less technical users who want a clear overview of their assets.

Chains: Limited

Protocols: Limited DeFi

Wallet Connection: Optional (exchange connections)

Price: Freemium

Best for: casual investors who want a polished mobile experience with price alerts and exchange tracking.

Best for Privacy

If privacy is your top priority, the clear choices are Rotki and CleanSky. Rotki runs entirely locally: no server, no data transmission. CleanSky uses client-side encryption and requires no wallet connection, signature, or account. Both avoid the tracking that comes with using wallet connections and centralized account systems.

Best for Solana

The Solana specialist still standing is Step Finance, at app.step.finance: it understands Solana DeFi protocols with a depth that multi-chain trackers cannot match, from Marinade's liquid staking to Jupiter's limit orders or Drift's perpetuals. The other recommendation previously on this list, Sonar Watch, has lacked DNS since sometime before Oct-15-2026. For a distributed portfolio, Rotki has added Solana support (which was not reflected in the previous version of this table) and CleanSky covers it in its multi-chain view; details can be found in our Solana tracker comparison.

Best for Cosmos

Cosmos is the gap in this list, and it should be stated plainly: the former leader, Pulsar Finance, closed its tracker, and the domain now serves a Solana trading terminal. What remains are explorers and wallets rather than portfolio trackers: Mintscan is functional, the Keplr chain registry had 401 chains on Oct-15-2026—335 Cosmos, 64 EVM, and 2 Solana—and CleanSky includes two Cosmos chains in its unified view, which is partial coverage and presented as such. The breakdown is in our Cosmos tracker comparison.

Best for DeFi on EVM

DeBank has the deepest DeFi protocol coverage on EVM. It detects positions in hundreds of protocols that other trackers miss. If your DeFi activity is concentrated on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, and BSC, DeBank will find more of your positions than almost any competitor. CleanSky is the runner-up, with 329 position readers counted in its repository and the added benefit of risk analysis.

Best for CeFi + DeFi

If you hold crypto in both exchanges and wallets, CoinStats is designed exactly for this. It imports data from Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and dozens of other exchanges via API while tracking DeFi wallet positions. Rotki also handles both, with the added benefit of running locally and generating tax reports.

Best for Beginners

For users just starting with portfolio tracking, CoinGecko Portfolio is the simplest option: manually add what you own and track prices. Delta offers a polished mobile experience with price alerts. CoinStats is a good next step when you are ready for automatic tracking via exchange connections.

Best Free Options

Those that remain entirely free as of Oct-15-2026 are CleanSky, DeBank, Step Finance, and CoinGecko Portfolio. Among them, CleanSky offers the broadest multi-chain coverage with risk analysis at no cost. The free versions of CoinStats, Rotki, and Delta cover basic features, with advanced capabilities behind a subscription.

How to Choose

The right tracker depends on three things: where your assets are (which chains and exchanges), how much you care about privacy, and what you want to do with the information (just track, analyze risks, report taxes, or trade).

  • Multi-chain with privacy? CleanSky.
  • Deep dive into EVM DeFi? DeBank.
  • Trade + track in one app? Zerion.
  • Combined exchange + wallet? CoinStats.
  • Solana specialist? Step Finance, at app.step.finance.
  • Cosmos ecosystem? No dedicated portfolio tracker since Pulsar closed: Mintscan for exploring and CleanSky for the two chains it covers.
  • Maximum privacy + taxes? Rotki.
  • Analysis + whale tracking? Nansen.
  • Just starting out? CoinGecko Portfolio or Delta.

Most trackers are free or have free versions, so try two or three to see which fits your workflow before deciding.

See your full portfolio in seconds. Paste any wallet address into CleanSky: no connection, no registration. Twenty-five mainnets across eight chain families and 329 position readers, with risk analysis included.
